i was lucky enough to catch the super furries in a 500 capacity initimate gig in cardiff last night and, naturally, they were fantastic.
they played loads of my favourite songs and particular highlights would have to be coming back on for the encore with the quite simply jaw dropping version of
slow life and also the mosh out to
receptacle to the respectable and the now obligatory closer
the man don't give a fuck 
it was a warm up show for their forthcoming festival dates so be sure to catch them if you are going to one of the festivals they're playing at - you won't be disappointed.
i'm seeing them again at the hay on wye literature festival later this month
