Re: Thank you for Smoking
I didn't think you were doubting me, I wanted to add some additional thoughts. I'm in agreement with you in regards to the high cost of going to see films in the theatre.

If I didn't have a connection at a local theatre allowing me access to new films for free, I'd be choosey in regards to what I see first run and what I see at the cheap theatres here in Portland. I also work at one of the cheap theatres that serves beer and wine in town as a projectionist. That is another venue to see films. Most of the films we end up showing are a mix of art house fare and some big budget stuff.

With Jack Black, sometimes I don't mind him, like in King Kong or High Fidelity but then I see the trailer for Nacho Libre and have no interest what so ever. Actually, I'm also kind of surprised that Woody Allen hasn't tapped Jack Black to star in one of his films yet. You'd think something like that would've happen by now with Black's ever growing on and off screen persona.

If you like the Spike Lee films, I think you'll like Inside Man. I missed She Hate Me but was told by many that I didn't miss anything but a really, really bad Spike Lee film.
