Well, i've listened a couple times to your re-edit. i am now hearing the difference you're talking about between Lp and 12"...to be honest, i don't really like the longer version, mostly because the typical ending keyboard drops out abruptly and kinda awkwardly at 7:54-7:55 and there are a few seconds of just "Rez"-style hi-hat which seems kinda sparse before the whistle outro builds again. But different strokes for different Dirties.
You did do a good job mixing the bits together, though!
