I managed to record from FM in the end, and it sounds fine by my ears. There's one 1/2 second drop just after the "maggot" spoken segue/intro bit echoes away, which is a bummer but it edited out OK. You should have seen me leap across the room when I realized
that was happening. I hate having crap gear and being generally feckless.
If anyone can suggest where I can put this once it's cleaned up (ha ha ha, no, not there
) I'm happy to share, though as Stimpee said someone probably made a better recording of it.
