the roots yet
their "come alive" album is IMO one of the best "live-recorded-albums".
also the
fugees should be mentioned! "the score" is one of the main reasons i started listening to hip hop...

check out "dub come save me", basically a dub-hiphop version of the album. i like it even more than the original "run come save me".
