Well, hearkening back to my days as a Cocteau Twins and Eddie Izzard fan (still am both):
75% is how you look.
20% is how you sound.
5% is what you actually say.
So, we can't see UW do this song (on the album) so let's make it 75% how you sound, 25% what you say.
Karl's part on this track is 100% crap.
Even though the lyrics are stupid, Cocteau Twin's lyrics were always pretty stupid too but at least they sounded good in terms of phonetics.
