jack johnson - [s]fucking great album[/s]non-entity
royksopp - good, not great, [s]but worthy of inclusion in a top 50[/s] but there's at least 50 albums better than this one
the killers - [s]another fantastic album albeit released in 2004[/s] intensely annoying
goldfrapp - excellent album and probably the one madonna wanted to make, on second thought maybe not, because madonna wanted price to make a shamelessly full on disco album, and goldfrapp had a different idea. an idea... that was ultimately as tepid and spotty as the meadonna album.
the doves - [s]another great album, not in my top 10 for the year but only because there were so many great albums this year[/s] yawn-a-thon.
