First thought: hey, the beat and rhythm sound pretty cool; wouldn't expect this out of R+K.

Second thought: what the hell? The vocoder is way over done, and I can't figure out what the hell Karl is saying in order to sing along/interpret the song. It's starting to sound like a mess.

Third thought: the beat and nonstop vocals do seem to melt together, and on second listen it did sorta grow on me. Still, what the hell? I'm not excited by this piece, and if it goes on for 25 minutes, it better get extremely good at the end for this first part to work. Maybe this is work for the soundtrack? I don't know.
