Yes, this is the same as Air Towel Jam, but it's . . . different. Not significantly so, but it's weird that what we got in 2002 was apparently edited.
In this new download, it contains sections that were excised from what was previously released.
0:13-0:42 on the new one were chopped at 0:13 on the old one.
2:48-3:01 on the new were chopped at 2:17 on the old one.
8:59-9:06 on the new one were chopped at 8:05 on the old one
And then the new one continues on for about 25 seconds longer at the end.
The last two edits, I can see that they were done because of mistakes made, but I don't know why they'd want to remove that, as that's all part of the live performance/experience. I don't know why they did the first edit which removed some percussion stuff.
The other weird thing is that while doing A-B comparisons, I couldn't shake the feeling that they were at different tempos. I threw them into a BPM analyzer and the old file came back at 140 BPM, and the new one at 137 BPM. I can only imagine that this is due to some analog tape playback speed issue, and I don't know which one would be right.

Absolutely. Elements of Born Slippy (some of them "live version"-only) are used throughout. I always imagined that this transitioned into a full-on performance of Born Slippy, but based on the extended ending on this new file, it sounds like it might've just petered out.

Also known as Rope. I'm a bit surprised we didn't get that in the Beaucoup Fish boxset, as it was played out live during that era. Maybe the AHDO box set?
