PB - Check your PM... you should be able to play these tracks as long as you have the iTunes account active (just an e-mail and username). I do know that the era was one of DRM on iTunes purchases before which required a log-in w/the correct iTunes account to play certain tracks... but entering your Japan account info should correct that.

Does anyone know if the Japan store has gone iTunes Plus yet? I refuse to buy 128kbps audio files!
