- -=- 'warm and fuzzy', eh? have to say, though, that that 'mr.' thingy leaves
me a teensy weensy perplexed: feel like a school teacher or something. most
people call me tom, whiles my best m8 susanne calls me thomas, though she
does agree with darren emerson that im a 'fuckin fruitcake' at times. takes
one to know one, i say, and darren emerson knows one, i can say: krazy krazy
krazy. do you like my postcard from 'hell'? made it myself.

- -=- tremblay, jp to his good aquaintances, and currently 'how to laugh at
the underwater underdog' (but then he changes his name every other day, dunt
ee) calls me all sorts of fruitcake tomboy things at times. now he is an
excellent m8. in fact it was him told me what that 'm8' thing darren uses
means, cos i was totally at a loss, m25, haha, fuckin internet infant
fruitcake me. his

***totally UNofficial so don't pester him with tell darren
i fancy him and rick has magic specs whered he get them and
that karl hes a fuckin fruitcake hmm underworld i loooooove
you siGHte***

is indeed a joy to behold. muzik magazine had a nice little picture piece on
it last month, not that i'm recommending you buy muzik magazine you understand.

- -=- peter baars, who runs the netherland site, has been awfy busy lately and
not had much time to get it together; maybe you could ask him to do
something about his 'applecake flash shit ' yourself in a personal
invitation to participate in all this dirty talk we're having here? i'd like
that.

just wrote to say while im at it you know, that i saw #dirtydarren
(all cred for the lovely name is mine mind you) up and running
the other night. there were 3 people there when it got kind of crowdy.
irc is kind of scary... people there are either psychopaths who rape
their cats or just weird in general. i think i might contribute on
this work to keep the internet sane and perhaps visit regulary...
did i mention that i don't have a cat but a dalmatian? nevermind
keeping a dog is much cheaper than letting some bird inside your house
anyway... i think i lost track of this conversation. what i was going
to say was that in a year or so, i'll learn to use irc and then i can
interact with other people like you're supposed to on the net.

lee, just trying scott's patience.

Yes, it certainly is. Anything good in America is deemed to "rock,"
regardless of non-rock content.

Although most American kids just prefer listen to traditional bang yo head
rock. With is something that English music writers ALWAYS miss the point
of. "Oh Americans won't understand this because he's bisexual." "Americans
don't understand Pulp, they're too camp."

Your average American kid couldn't give two shits wether an artist is gay,
screws trees, fondles animals, writes songs about architecture, or solves
the meaning of life in under fourty words. They just want to RAAWWWWWK.
Which is probably why bands like Oasis, Radiohead, and errr, ummm Bush
have done well over here, and bands like Blur, Pulp, and Suede have not.

Personally, I'd throw all of that away for some "Cherry Pie."

Also having lived in the Euroland (okokokok--it was France, so SUE ME!) and
most of my useless life in the US, I agree with BOTH lee & Scott on this
little subject of Rawking In The U.S O' A. THey're both absolutely right
and I refuse to quote them because I'm drunk on wine and have to go spin a
set now--God help me. I'm in the Oregon desert in a fucking barn using my
lap top/cellular. I've become addicted to the list--this is a sure fucking
sign. Uhhhhhh.....rural kids looking over my shoulder...gotta run
folkks---OH!!! I'm going to spin my Romford Battle Royale tonight-- an hour
of Underworld vs. Jay Trance--guys who wins??? ; )

Loving you all from the west coast---

continued to tom, whoops massive reply...tin there has qualities
reminiscent of stepback, but a bit more "executive-production"
oriented...still that doggerel quality only now its rabid. oddly enough we
can use doggerel in the sense that karl (ifuckwordsup) hyde might and
apply it to doggy-like, or simply follow the lovely oed and run along the
"badly-produced" end of things, hence the scratchy-growling quality at the
top o' things. and "pearls girl" did have "puppies," too. as darren
pointed out oh so long ago before his massive leave of absence for
matters-promotional and whatnot, after initially logging in what seems
like twice a day.

whoo enough of the mutt theme for that single, stepback you slammin
darling

erm...something most distinctly non-tshirt appearing. you know, typical
front center small fraction of the shirt image, turnaround to back center
half the shirt image.

and maybe a little stringent on the colours...tomato of late has gotten a
bit questionable when they get lenient with the color palette (see the
asian motif of pearls girl yecccch)

i wonder if this shit has any impact
i wonder if this shirt has any impact
i wonder if this shift has any impact

Darren flogging fan club material? whatever next? Mind you, I s'pose xmas is
just around the corner and every little helps eh?
I think a puppies t-shirt would be cool - not a huge fan of the tune though
(Scott, don't bother buying it unless you're a saddo completist).
And will you all stop trying to sound like Karl? please!

Subject: more thought...

After giving more thought to the t-shirt deal, I think it should be
something relatively simple. I like the idea of somebody's back there
to have the t-shirt that's not a t-shirt, but as far as what's on it...
maybe something like the "Born Slippy" shirts.

You know, on the front it could be like "underw orld dirt ylist."

The back of the shirt might have something in the way of artwork a little
more extensive?

How about good quotes from people on the list? Mmmm...like :

"we're not trying to establish world peace!!"

- Duncan

"where the hell is my mail goin?"

- Lee (well, okay, he didn't say that.)

"you're a fucking fruitcake!"

- Darren

Well, maybe those weren't so good but you get the idea.
