BTW, if anyone has a Creative Zen Micro they might want to upgrade the firmware because a problem has been fixed that can
halve the battery time from 12hrs to 6hrs.
If you have the firmware from before June 06, then the unit would wait 24hrs on standby before auto-shutting down after playing an album. This was changed to 4 hours (version 1.10.02) However, the problem wasnt fixed and it would drain the battery if you left the headphones plugged in it would drain the batteries, and this was fixed a month later (v1.11.01). It took Creative 6 months to release a fix for this. One thing they havent fixed is the poor build quality. The headphone jack still comes loose on new Zen models 2 years after being identified as a common problem.
Its stuff like this that makes me avoid Creative. You get what you pay for. Get the firmware fix
