This stuff reminds me of the barrage of scare-stories about homosexuality that were put out in the UK press during the 80s when I was growing up, as a reaction against the emerging gay rights movement. As I understand it, these allegations are being dragged back up (via this new 'embellishment') as part of a decisive conservative campaign against his appointment, even though they came to nothing in the first place. Of course all it takes is for an accusation...

I'm sure if any new information comes out to cast serious doubt on his presumed innocence, we'll learn about it very prominently and he will (deservedly) be ostracised everywhere - or at the very least, on Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly and so on. Until then, I'd just be careful where you regurgitate potentially libellous statements if I were you.

On a more general point, would you care to define for me "promoting homosexuality"? I see a lot of copy and paste from you, but rarely your own thoughts. So when you see that phrase, how do you personally interpret it?

Also, while you're at it, tell me about "the gay agenda".
