one more thing...

someone has preserved the 8mm version of 'star wars', and
'the empire strikes back'..[truncated versions]

and they've just finished doing the transfer of the
16mm version of star wars..

if you check the site i mentioned, under preservations,
there's a lot of nice people there.... and if you google
