Anyway, I'm very, very excited about tonight! Really wish I was going to be there live, but SF is just out of reach for me tonight. Plus, then I'd have to be driving all day tomorrow to be in time for the Hard Summer show tomorrow night in L.A.

As of last night, what I get when I click the link is a QuickTime stream that opens with a splashscreen announcing the gig, then a warped out sequence of colors over a live perfomance of "Cowgirl" gradually fading into Karl singing live. The whole thing lasts about five minutes, but tonight at 9, it should be replaced by the true, live gig, yeah?
Can someone confirm this for me?
C'mon, y'all! This is a rare UW weekend for those of us in the States! UW is very underappreciated here, so let's make up for that at these shows!
And since I realize UW has many fans, probably most of whom are, in fact, not in the U.S., I hope all of you have been or will be able to catch them on this tour. I hope there's no one feeling left out because UW's not getting to their corner of the globe, but I know it's probably the case somewhere. So, I promise I'll be thinking of you guys (I intend to stay sober), I love of all you fellow UW fans, and remember that Rick and Karl truly, truly appreciate us, as well. Hence, don't feel left out, for we're all lovely, lovely Dirts!
