As a QuickTime troubleshooting tip, if you're having skipping/dropping/connecting problems with QuickTime streams, try this:
1. Open QuickTime in your Control Panel (System Preferences for Macs)
2. Click the Advanced tab
3. Change the Transport Setup to "Custom"
4. Choose "HTTP" and leave it on Port 80. Click OK.
5. Click OK again (on Windows).
6. Close QuickTime Player or your web browser, and relaunch it, and try the stream again.
