I always thought of "Parc" as being a more 'traditionally'-structured song, as in it wouldn't be too weird to hear Depeche Mode or New Order or Thomas Dolby having done something like that. It was more New Wave and less 'UW-as-usual'. It's probably my favorite song they've done this decade. I don't have a problem at all with UW letting in pop influences. I think they are talented enough to figure out how to do it the right way.
