Just waking up from a great night in Paris, the first night of Warp's 20th birthday celebrations here and I couldnt be happier.
Met George Evelyn of Nightmares on Wax - still cant believe it, Carboot Soul defines my earliest memories of listening to Warp Records
Met Andrew Weatherall - and danced like mad to his incredible 2hr set, masterclass in patient, educated mixing
Met Chris Cunningham - Nuff sed
But i was suprised there wasnt already a thread on this in the Forums when i came on here (at least i dont think there is) so i decided to start one up and see what people think of Warp in general... perhaps suggest their favourite Warp artists/records/releases/events/ memories over the past 20 years...
...it being their 20th B-Day they are also getting fans to vote for their favourite Warp releases to create a Warp20 Compilation album..you can do this here...
