We have had a very bizarre and extremely sad series of suicides in
Bridgend in Wales. Again, as you say, easier to "organise" than a murder-suicide spree.
Nevertheless, the parents in the Bridgend cases feel that media reporting has had an effect on others and, perhaps, encouraged them to take their lives when perhaps they might not have.
Very sad. The idea of your child killing themselves is a truly unbearable thought for a parent. To lose a child like this and wonder whether it was partly encouraged by media reporting in similar cases, without which they might not have taken the final step, must be doubly devastating.
