Not sure if you're referring to my review, but to clarify, i do really like the Prodigy's back catalog, including AONO...it had variety and melody and was a welcome change from the schlock of Baby's Got A Temper as a self-parody of Firestarter.
While relistening to Invaders Must Die, i've revisited the back catalog. Simply put, all of the other albums sounded fresher, more original, taking risks and capitalizing on what Liam does best - injecting hard-rocking riffs into techno tracks. The latest does what's been done before on all their albums. The difference is, now it sounds kind of ridiculous - custom made for sporting events amp-ups and video games.
Nonetheless, i keep listening to it and hearing more nuances in the mix. I wish it weren't all: piranha! fire! die! whatchagonnadowhenthehoundsarecalling?!?!
