but honestly, I think this is a pretty "tired" subject, or is it just me?

I mean - just look at the facts, since Darren left UW - Rick and Karl have done:

• several live tours (both with and without Pricey)
• A Hundred Days Off
• Breaking and Entering
• Sunshine
• Oblivion with Bells
• the RiverRun projects (+ singles)
• all those b-sides, live only tracks, etc
• and all those new (quality) tracks that have been played during the radio shows

Darren...

um...

a few compilation/dj mix releases
a handful of new songs here and there... (most of which sounded like '98/'99 era improvs... well without that certain "something" that the BF tour improvs had)

...and um...

...I can't think of anything else (worth mentioning)
Basically, what you're pointing out is that they have been very productive since Emerson left. However, looking at the quality of the stuff, I am personally a bit dissapointed with their recent releases. OWB, the tracks on uwlive, I'm not too thrilled about it.
I can't really judge about their liveshows, because they really do a good job in that. Inevitably, their shows have become a greatest hits thing, but the crowd enjoys it, and I think the fans do too.
