Of course it's happening. And I believe it's largely thanks to the "not my President" stance taken by many vocal opponents of Bush. The saying "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is based on basic human nature, and it applies directly to this situation.
Luckily though, it appears that
the vast majority of Americans are on board with Obama now that we're post-election.
