Hmm...bit late for this one
, but I'll chip in still.. Back in the old days when things were things and I was a biking rock n roller, I listened to a double CD compilation called Tribal Gathering '95.. Most of the tracks were pretty good, couple of duff ones.....but one....the last track on one of the disks was by some band called 'Underworld'. Bit of a strange, dark sort a name....but f**k me, what a track !!!! Dark and Long (and long it was too...)...the one and only Train Mix. It dug a Hole in my Soul, and settled in for good. My bestest ever, lock me in a padded cell for the whole of eternity with only one track, by any artist....favourite.
And you know what...? When I first went to see them at the Brighton 3 day music festival (many eclipses ago) I was praying for them to play it, as that track didnt seem to be known by most people, as Born Slippy was topping the charts at the time... They didnt just play it....but opened their set with it !!!! I was and still am a very happy bunny, thanks to Underworld...
