its on hold now..
Judging from the interview, any sequel for the monster
movie is definitely on hold until they (Reeves and producer J.J Abrams) come up with an idea that is fresh and unique in their eyes. A reporter even asked in the video interview whether they a prequel or a sequel shot by steady cam would work but he wouldn't budge on the issue.
