This thread is waaay too long for me to look back, but I have just finished a fantastic book - in all the senses of the word - by Ben Aaronovitch called "Rivers of London" and am chomping at the bit...

Misery and It are two of my fave Stephen Kings. My #1 is still The Stand though. Amazing journey that book takes you through. :)

I like my crime thrillers, and I accidentally stumbled upon The Take by Graham Hurley in a charity shop one lunchtime when I had time to kill last week. I hadn't come across him before as an author....
