found some better instructions for audacity:
The easiest way is to uncompress your mp3 to a WAV, then split the WAV into the different tracks, then burn the tracks as an audio CD in Disk at once...

Is Nero available for Mac, which version do you use for splitting the track?
Also, Wavelab is a little pricey for my needs.

software advice
I have done a few mixes using garageband, what I need to do is split the file exported from GB into tracks, making sure the transition is seemless when I burn it on to cd.
Any suggestions?
