It seems some people didn't know what they were letting themselves in for.
When all the ticket websites said 'Underworld - special LATE NIGHT show, 8pm until 2am', and the tickets say 'until 2am' on...

There are a few minicab firm offices in the area. From what I remember there is one very close to the academy on Stockwell Road, just turn right out of the venue and it's about 100m down the road....

The Beehive is only good for one thing - a cheeky cheap vodka redbull before heading to the Academy. Otherwise it is full of Brixton chavs and dodgy old men!!
There is a good pub/bar that does good...

Well dubman, United are doing a return flight from SFO to LHR for the weekend for just under £700, which now the exchange rate has just gone to pot for us Brits is about $1000... surely worth it to...

One thing that did annoy me slightly at the last Roundhouse gig was a small group of 'chavs' only there for Born...

If you are still standing after the gig (remember it's a late one!), there is always the Dogstar on Coldharbour Lane (5mins walk from the Academy), open until 4am and sometimes let you in for free...

In my opinion, The Dogstar is the best pre-gig venue in Brixton, been going there for years.
Does good mexican food if you feel the need, plus none of the more 'dodgy' characters of Brixton frequent...

National Express coaches will get you back to Newcastle for £28, or megabus.com will do a seat back for less than a tenner!!

Most ticket agencies say the Saturday night is sold out, but if anyone is still looking for Saturday tickets, try www.stargreen.com (http://www.stargreen.com), they still appear to have tickets...

They have announced another night at Brixton Academy
Friday 31st October, 8pm to 2am.
Tickets go on sale Friday, 1st Aug, 9am from all usual outlets.
Looks like I'll have to...

Doors open at 8pm, after support I reckon Underworld will be on at 10.30-11ish for a 2 hour stint, leaving a DJ to play for the last...
