I think most HBO shows make a much better viewing experience in large marathon chunks - like if you treat each season of the show like a 13-hour movie - than week by week. I can definitely see why...

yeah it collapsed on its own running time i think. the beginning bit was classic but I never really cared about their origin so i didn't care about their send-up of the origin formula either....

yeah... the poem (and by extension all of his dialogue) just felt way too over-indulgent to me... and the gun leg has always been a turn-off for me. I guess they're both indicative of their movies...
