Re: 2014-11-08 I Love Techno

Mmh, yeah, that'd be sweet.

Are you coming, Stimpee? The missus and I are going - will soon try to get some sleep in advance...

Re: Tickets for Royal Festival Hall show - spares?

Getting up at 4:30 am two days in a row didn't pay out. I'm afraid they'll have to do another (series of) concert(s) then.

Anything happening in mid/East Canada over the coming five weeks?

I'll be touring the country with the missus and our boy. Thought perhaps our trip might coincidentally take us near a national park rave, basement Techno party, backyard Underworld gig or the like I...

Re: Favourite version of Cowgirl

Seconded and seconded. All-time favouritest track ever by anyone or anything. The slooowwwwww Rez intro is killing me a little on each listen.

Re: Post your mixes, music, etc here...

Nice one, bravva. The 55 Miles (http://www.mixcloud.com/marshall-shane-watson/55-miles-of-drum-bass/) thing is also head-boppingly beautiful.

Re: Underworld: "Pop music shite"

I don't see the criticism that dramatically. Compared to musique concrete or virtually unknown Death Metal Folk Fusion bands, Underworld are 'pop music'. The 'shite' part is simply an opinion - and...

Re: High Contrast ft Tiësto & Underworld - The First Note Is Silent

Please leave your proclivity for sun-tanned Dutch farm workers aside, Matt. We're talking about Tiesto's crimes against music here.

There's a link to a mix with new stuff in this thread:

Maybe a moderator wants to merge both threads?

Re: a 'successful' artist

From people's talk and media coverage, I have the impression that an artist or work of art is considered 'successful' if the revenues provide for a level of income that is sufficient to lead a...

I was skeptical at first but there are some nice bassy smashers in there. Well done.

The funny name-dropping starts at 1:04:35. They all live on the same street. The Chemical Brothers are a little...
