i use a two button mouse on my mac, and run both windows and OS X. i frequently use both buttons on the mouse in either OS, so can-it. the whole anti-mac or anti-windows thing is simply misguided...

the way i mix melodically is by ear. i usually figure out the key a track is in with my guitar, or find a good tonal centre of the piece. next i find another track in a complimentary key.
