Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs trailer
 

The trailer for the next film coming out of Sony Pictures Animation is up online. It's a movie called Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, set to be out September of this year. The screenings of Cloudy that I've seen have been strong. Unfortunately, I don't think the humor of the film is communicated very well in the trailer, but in context, it's a totally funny movie. I did some storyboards to help out on this one, but the film I'm really involved with will be the next one we release, called Hotel Transylvania. Don't go by any of the synopsis you can find of Hotel T online though - the story's totally different now.

Thanks for the link. I wasn't familiar with this as a children's book, but it looks like a great opportunity for some really inventive sequences. Animation from the trailer looks top notch. Also just checked out that voice cast: Bruce Campbell, James Caan and one Mr T - oh yes!

I heard about the plot of Cloudy from one of the sound editors a few weeks ago, and after seeing the trailer I really can't wait to see this!
