To Heal(and restore broken bodies) and Deep Arch

This is probably just me, but does anyone else think that the child like vocals in these songs are from the same person? Obvisually, there is a decade or so amongst so these tracks, so would that mean UW have been sitting on vocal samples for 10+ years?

They do sound mighty similar. I wouldn't be surprised if they dug into some sample archives and revisited that particular little voice.

Kids all sound the same. The two sound different to me though, FWIW.

They have used the same samples live over a number of years. The spoken bit at the beginning of Juanita from Fuji Rock Festival 1999 sounds like it's from the same source as the spoken bit at the beginning of Shake That Higher from Benicassim Festival 2005.

There are no bad students only bad teachers.

edit: sounds like different kids to me

Plus, with about a dozen years separating the tracks, it's quite alright that they revisit a child voice sample, whether from the same source or not.

Still, "To Heal" (and restore)" is just plain beautiful. The kid's voice on "Deep Arch" is interesting and i'm fine with the track, but somehow the latter track is more moving.

Why does every child voice have to be the same person, and every girl voice have to be 'Juanita' or 'Danielle'... get over it! ;)
