Friday the 13th
 

Just saw it and it's pretty damn good. You want everyone to die from the first second they open their mouths....and they do! :)


Go see it, especially if you were a fan of this director's (Marcus Nispel) previous horror remake - the excellent "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". It almost feels like a spiritual sequel to that TCM remake moreso than the "TCM:the Beginning" flick which was shot by a different guy. The creepy old looking locales, the hot chicks naked & in peril, the washed out colors, the brutal killings, and the creepy local residents are very similar, but also just as prolific and horrifying at Camp Crystal Lake as they were in that bad part of Texas.:evilgrin:

that's awesome. Here's an idea for someone: for the sequal, start it out with a reality tv show, like rock of love or something, and then all of a sudden it switches genres as jason is stalking the malibu mansion, taking out one living example of the demise of our civilisation after another.

man that would be sweet.

Everyone in the film is a walking cliche just like on a reality tv show....and Jason comes right into their nice little Malibu (well, Crystal Lake) Mansion where they've gone to party at. Stupendous Tits are exposed and then of course Death ensues...:eek::D

glad to see things have not changed. evangelical teens in the 80's being taught sex leads to being macheted to death by a guy in a hockey mask just like teens today.

havnt seen the movie but i just had to say... on Friday the 13th i got a flight to Dublin called EI 1305 (yes thats a 13) and i was sitting in seat 13a

i only realised halfway through the flight

that's what happened in one of the Halloween sequels ...

I forget which one, it was either "H20" or the one after it. I think Jamie Lee Curtis was only in it for a few minutes (so - it probably was the one after it)

...yea - b/c "H20" had LL Cool J in it, and this one had Busta Rhymes in it (he played like... I guess he was either the producer of the show, or the camera man)

basically in the movie - they decide to film a reality tv show in Michael Myers' house
