Very cool track, Buji!
I like the bassline sort of bubbling under the surface. You could bring that up in the mix as a lead harmony and this would be a dancefloor monster. But as it is, very chill, tricky percussion, too!

cheers,

Cheers Holden,

That is a quality idea, I might have a go at another version that builds up that bass line to make one big journey of a track would be good for a live mix too.

This is why I still miss I-dance, you get other people's perspective on the music.

Cheers.

I like this! Nice job Buji ;) You do your own vocals?
I would love to do vocals. My voice is good i've been told. But i am not the type to go on the X Factor lol Give me soothing beats behind me ;)

Cheers Flywaver.

The thing is I am not a good singer at all and certainly not a natural!
I was making loads of tracks that were mainly beat driven and it was getting a bit stale so I started to look at making more song based stuff as well and realised you can make a poor voice sound much better by harmonising a few backing channels and putting one lead a bit louder in the mix, a touch of reverb helps too!!

I really like the way Karl uses his vocals as an instrument most of the time rather than a verse - chorus song structure, thats why I try and keep simple use of lyrics!

Give it a try and you will most likely get used to your own voice more after a few listens back.

I will keep my eye out for you on xfactor next year!!!!!

Jez.
