you would have thought after such a long time unbeaten the home fans would have tried to make some atmosphere to inspire their team; but they just sat in almost total silence while the liverpool fans bounced and sung their hearts out

i hate the way people like hank lampard have leapt to his defence, saying 'he could've been blinded by that coin' - unlike anybody in the crowd he threw it back into... it's also glossed over his middle-finger salute, which is surely incitement and should lead to a longer ban?
