So Obama bought a chunk of network time
uninterrupted 30 minute chunk of primetime from major stations
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/1..._n_133363.html anybody have any guesses as to what he'll be doing with that buy? first thing that came to my mind is Obama doing a show ala The Chapelle Show, Greatest Misses episode and they just play videos of McCain/Palin's embarrasing moments/associations etc. |
Re: So Obama bought a chunk of network time
so does this qualify for the rule that says candidates must get the opportunity for equal exposure? like, does mccain now have a right to claim a block of time on these same networks? i can't remember the details of the rule so i don't know if it applies to media buys.

Re: So Obama bought a chunk of network time
The video for 'Never Gonna Give You Up' was shown 8 times in a row in what has become the most watched Rickroll ever. The rest of the airtime was a recently found blooper reel from Cannonball Run II.

Well, tv time is a good thing. And from what I can see from Cacophony's link, McCain will have to have the same - if there is enough money left in his campaign to buy it. ;) Still, he could always advertise those nice Oven Chips he makes instead. :p |
