Cool. I just read about this in the HuffPo, funnily enough.

At least this has a solid basis in fact instead of the silly smears Mrs P was spouting trying to link Obama to terrrrrrrsm. Net result of that, btw, seems to be Obama gaining % points in the Real Clear Politics polls. Bwahahahaha! Well done, GOP! Keep 'em coming! :D

i have to admit to something here. i tend to put my head in the sand when it comes to the keating 5 for one really sad, pathetic reason. john glenn. i love nasa. i love astronauts. i love john glenn. i can't really think about the keating 5 without confronting an idea that i simply can't accept, that john glenn might have dabbled in corruption.

so i just don't think about it.

when my dad talked about this months and months ago i thought it was for sure one of those things that, while significant, was too dry to keep anyones interests and wouldnt be used properly or effectively.

i'm really glad theyre getting this together and getting attention for it. this rocks so hard. especially after mccain camp is basically admitting that they're going to play it low and sleazy for the rest of the campaign.
since when did seeing a smear with facts help anyone tho? how is this working...

Statements like this so floor me, I start to question whether my own political leaning is preventing me from seeing what these other people are.

I know we're mostly Obama supporters here, but our objectivity isn't that skewwhiff is it? This woman is talking out her ass.... isn't she?

Yes, she is speaking out her ass. Obama is not without fault in this election, but he is no where near the low level of Sarah Palin and her cranky old Grandpa John McCain.

It strikes me as odd how this seems to be working. McCain says Obama is evil. McCain makes stuff up, and ignores facts, or just tells bold face lies about O'Man. Obama's camp says "Hey, not cool, not true...etc." The media comes out and says "That wasn't true what you said McCain"

Then McCain's response always seems to be "I wouldn't make stuff up, ignore facts or tell bold face lies. That's not my style. That's what Obama does".

But who cares what Cindy McCain thinks. She's just the dirty mistress with money that McCain left his wife and family for. (Oooo...That's a fact Johnny Mac!)
