The link provides a sample of this gorgeous song. It is taken from Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt Live @ Ostgut (Kompakt Label Night) - 12.28.02.
It sounds a lot like something released by Kompakt.

Wait for the chorus to come in, maybe then people will recognize it. The vocals are lovely. ´Hold me to you, hold me close` `take me there, I won´t say no´, hmmm sweet.

If I had to guess, It sounds like something William Orbit and Laurie Mayer (Torch Song) would do.

Totally forgot about this track. It’s on the Sub Static label’s first compilation called “ON AND ON” by the Canadian project REPAIR. The song is called “PULL ME TO YOU”.
