"Carbon footprint" labels
 

This seems like a good idea to me - labeling various goods with the size of their carbon footprint. I always hear abstract comments about how much fuel it takes to make and distribute a product, but I would love to be able to actually know the specific amount so that I could consider it and shop accordingly.
