...I'm dumping this on all of you guys. I really hope you're having a fucking blast with life right now. Seriously, live it up.

My weekend sucked big time. I'm telling you guys because I've always told you guys interesting or important stuff from time to time.

That being said, one of my Marines shot himself in the head yesterday morning, and it's been tearing me up since then. He never showed any suicidal behavior or pattern that anyone in the platoon could see. He just walked out to the head at about 3:30 in the morning and shot himself.

Give someone a hug today, will ya?

Ugh. Thats really rough and I feel for you, Sar. I just wished a good friend of mine best wishes a weekend ago as he heads (back) to Iraq.

Ah man, that is horrible news. I hope you and your mates can support each other through this rough time. Try and concentrate on the guy's life rather than the shock of it's untimely end.
