Hey guys,

Just wanted to tell you guys about a project ive been working on for the past 6 months, in between changing jobs, slobbering over girls and watching Big Brother...

Synopsis:

My flatmate and myself discovered we were quite funny.

We also discovered our shared desire for radio presenting.

So we decided to record some sessions of bantering and fun, which we distributed amongst friends, and which has developed into website.

We are looking to occupy a regular time slot on an internet radio station soon and we are currently in talks with a local commercial radio station here in Bristol (Original 105.6) regarding a regular slot on their shows.

So this weekend we are about to record Podcast number 6, and we thought to add a bit more interactivity and to work towards feeling comfortable doing a regular live slot, we would record this as it happens on a live stream.

The stream is already up and running (on and off testing) at 128k and supports 25 users.

We will be broadcasting from 8pm - 12pm* GMT on Saturday 12th July 2008 and i would love it if some of you guys could tune in!

Anyway its been a while since we did a proper dirtyradio broadcast so this could be fun! We will also be around in the chat rooms...

About 1 - 2 hours before we start the show, i will also be playing out some of my old favoraite tunes from the stack...

British Special time, yes - spread the word and the love :)

Correction:

Stream is online from NOW until 9pm

The show starts at 9pm BST until midnight

I dont know what time that is Eastern Specific Time, sorry

I will also be around in the IRC chat room for feedback / issues etc because this is the first time ive used the steam..

I just wanted to bump this thread. Podeo.fm is a great place to listen to tunes. Dirty Radio is officially dead.... but Podeo.fm lives on. There are downloadable shows, and streaming audio... GOOD audio. This is something good, and this community should be supporting it. We like the music... we like that disco sound....
