Anthony Rother: "This is Electro" DVD + 2CD
 

Hi dirties !

Have you ever heard about this release ? It's the DVD that was supposed to be released last year, but they took their time to give us a great release. This live by this (almost unknown) electronic genius was recorded @Fuse, Brussels, at one of his show in 2004.

It will come outin september with 2 CD's, but I don't have any further information about them.

What little I have heard of Anthony Rother - Dirty Radio plays a track or two of his, and Blackstrobe have used him in their mixes - is excellent.

I will be keeping an eye out for this, for sure.

The tracks played on dirty are "10000 dancers" and "Space", good but surely not his best work to date. If you're interested by his sounds, check his album "Sex with the machines" and the 12" "Redlight disctrict"(for example).


"Simulazionzeitalter" is good too.

he's pretty well known in techno circles in germany,works with sven and the frankfurt/ex logic crew.i think he records with sven under some name or other.
some good stuff from him album "popkiller" "hacker" "art is a technology" "simulationszeitalter".
is "this is electro" a mix comp?

I know absolutely nothing about the 2 CD's. The DVD is a live in its full lenght(2 hours I think).

Yes he well known, but we don't speak enough about him :D
