Well I just got back, it was fucking amazing. really really really really good.

Daniel Bell made a few mistakes but nonetheless did a fantastic warm up set, to have Carl Craig wake up the crowd with much more melodic and hard techno, he really got the people dancing! He also played DJ Sneaks' remix of Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase" . Next up was Octave One. How awesome was that, they kept the music going like it should keep going, and also played BLACK WATER (instrumental)!!!! Kevin Saunderson knew what was the deal, kept playing some awesome techno with house influences. He also played the Joris Voorn remix of his own track "Bassline". Massive, massive.

And then... out of nowhere... When Jay Denham starts spinning, he puts the tempo up to, what is it? 150, 160 BPM!?!? That's probably the fastest and hardest techno I have ever heard, although it was maybe one step away from Schranz. But my god, I believed those beats could kill me and puke me out again. It was mad!

The lazers were incredible. Just mind blowing.

And now I don't feel like sleeping.

One of the best memories I have of techno period was seeing Jay Denham rock the FUNK out of the Underground Stage at DEMF in 2001. Hot damn did he just KILL IT. Haven't seen him since, but glad to hear he still brings it with the fury.
