That film was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Surprised me. It's quite sad, though.

Yes, it's a tear jerker. As is real life.

Oh, I definitely know what you mean and I agree with you. I too found the film inspiring, considering the social restrictions that were put upon her and natural at the time. It's amazing what she was able to do considering the circumstances. I just meant it was sad in regards to the storyline of what happened with her personal relationship (I'm trying not to put spoilers in here :) ).

i was dragged kicking and screaming to see this by the wife and was shocked, thought it would be terrible, but it was very charming
