Nine Inch Nails founder, frontman and all-around controller Trent Reznor says that the final date on their recent tour will be the end of the current NIN line-up.

"At this point, I want to switch things around a bit...Nine Inch Nails as a rock band configuration, we've done it and we've done it again. I see other ways I can present the material in concert, more challenging, something new. I don't want it to go stale...This group has toured together for two years...It's a well-rounded concert, a good collection of songs from different records."

this kinda scares me.
makes it sound like he's gonna do some kind of PIGFACE thing, with revolving musicians assisting him.
or, his next concept will be much more ' electronica' ish , in which case, have fun !

I saw the last Dublin gig and I'd agree, it was a bit stale.

Feet on the monitors, smash the guitar, leap about playing bad solos that should have been left in the 80's.
yawn.

Hats off to him for reckonising it, time to shake things up.
