um. maybe because one of the ongoing excuses people used to share out gigs of songs is because there was no legitimate support for the new music formats. Now that there are such things as a wide selection of songs for purchase, you're kind of just left looking like wynona rider.

It's cool news becuase amazon is a major company and it's a bold move to have no drm when it has been drm-city for so long. It represents trust coming back into the user VS treating consumers as criminals.

its a no brainer really... u sell music - might as well open a pay download site...

and p2p is still illegal... isn't it?
