Can't really judge from this trailer if it will be better than the first AvP. I think the whole idea stinks, tbh. The first Predator remains one of my most favourite action movies, I wish they would've left it at the first movie :(:p

I'm reserving judgement unitl a later point, especially with these films. A good, tight, well cut trailer can make anything look good.

Looks at least 100 times better than the first heap of shit movie. Still, 100 times nothing is still nothing. We shall see, but I'm mildly optimistic off the back of that. The story looks like it might play out like the story from the Aliens comic (1990ish) which was what the first film should have been.

Paul Anderson can fuck off tbh. Not as much a Uwe Boll though. He can fuck off and die.

Other than the lame-o "plot" and uninteresting human characters in the first AvsP movie (i mean, c'mon, couldn't they at least make Sigourney "Ripley" Weaver go back in time?!),
i think the big problem with the film was that the Alien wasn't scary enough anymore. Sure, it kills most humans, but i don't recall the Predator having any trouble with it. The Alien seemed smaller, like an insect to be swatted around and squashed, rather than the super-scary baddies in "Alien" and "Aliens". Maybe we saw too much/too many Aliens. In those first clasic films, less was definitely more.

having seen AVP i thought it was ok...

i mean what else can you do with an Alien and the Predator... it was kinda how i'd expected it to be - and it wasn't that bad....

but this one is expected to be better... milk those franchises....

Yeah, maybe. Or maybe is was just because Paul Anderson directed it and he's a total fucking jizz cock.

What colour is the sky where you're from? Honestly, this is definitely the worst film I've paid to see in the last 5 years, if not ever. Consider this: NO tension, awful characters, confusing direction (yeah, let's have it in a big internally shifting pyramid thing, that'll be fun to watch/try and follow), a script apparently penned by an autistic 12 year old and an ending that reeked of having given up (which I can kind of understand, having been so awful up until that point - yeah, alien head for a shield, tail for a spear, maybe she should have had sex with the predator too).

I'm sorry, I just think you're wrong.
