Aw man! :(

It was only a few weeks ago I was reading something about him doing some sort of speech at a convention or other. He was a brave and innovative, if sometimes naive, bloke who did a lot for music and the club scene.

like... even though I got into the whole Factory Records/ New Order "deal" a bit late (ok, after Factory even dissolved) - it still meant a lot to me

I had no idea who Tony Wilson was until I heard of '24 Hour Party People'. So can't say I feel sad, but he definetely left a huge footprint on the music world.
