Mystery sample ID's
Can anyone remember the Lemonworld broadcast from ages ago where UW played 1.5 seconds of new material? Has it all been found to match any new stuff that has been heard since then? Yes i would check but a nasty virus has wiped all my iTunes stuff and it all needs redoing. Hooray.

If I can help Dirty 0900, I will willingly burn some tracks onto a cd and post it to you:) Losing your iTunes library must be an absolute bummer:eek:

Re: Mystery sample ID's
you know... am I the only one who thinks it's a bit weird that we didn't end up hearing all the tracks from that sample that R+K gave us back before the first RiverRun?

Re: Mystery sample ID's
why is that weird? I think we all know that they have a lot more stuff in their archives than is actually getting released or played live.

Re: Mystery sample ID's
OK, speaking of unreleased mystery tracks, Jayynee's Biro post had me take another listen to the John Peel tribute show from 2004-12-16.
About 1/3 of the way into the show (around the 44 minute mark), the boys play a 12 minute mix that they did on a Music Bank session earlier in the year apparently. It contains a lot of stuff, some of which was released later, some of which wasn't. Some have names, some don't. First, there's a driving bass thing, that I knew I'd heard before. I finally tracked it down to the Electraglide Osaka show. It was played between JAL to Tokyo and Morrocan Meatballs. No name for it. There's a small quick snippet of Dinner at Rod's, and then a bunch of atmospheric stuff. Then a full song, over 5 minutes, something with a driving beat. I don't think it's been heard since, has it? Then Play Pig lyrics over something ambient. Then a full performance of Peggy Sussed, in a near final form, nearly a year before its release. |
