Re: new Prodigy song! (HQ rip)
thanks!
can't wait to hear some new prodigy stuff... btw - whatever happened to "Warning" "Dead Ken Beats" and all those new fills that they did during the "Their Law Tour" ...or even that sweeeet version of "Back to School" that had Liam's vocals - when I saw them in DC it was really cool and dubby (edit) wait... was this ripped from a webpage or something? |

Re: new Prodigy song! (HQ rip)
I'd like to hear that, but the link appears broken (download is only 2k in size). Got an alternate link?
By the way, i don't know what it is, but i can tell that he's making most of his sounds with software these days. Sounds like it needs more of a hard "edge". Maybe i'm jumping to conclusions blaming the software, but it's an educated guess. I know from an interview that he does a majority of programming in Reason now. Edit: BTW, I don't think that software necessitates a soft sound... but I think it encourages it in a weird way. Maybe because it's so easy to layer on subtle effect over subtle effect. |

Re: new Prodigy song! (HQ rip)
hmm... this different version of "Shootdown" is pretty cool
it's funny how it started as "Trigger", then became this, then when back to sounding closer to the original "Guns" actually sounds kinda like a DiV track & you can really heard Noel's bass (was he even on the final version?) |
